DISH NETWORK vs DIRECTV HD COMPARISON CHART

This is chart of the channels that call themselves HD Channels which are available on Dish and DirecTV.  The actual number of hours of true HD programming can vary from zero to 24 hours on any given day depending on the channel itself.  Some channels that call themselves HD distort their standard definition picture to fill a wide screen TV from side to side without regard for picture quality.

By removing the color from the chart you get an objective channel count difference between the two services.  However SOME CHANNELS THAT CALL THEMSELVES HD AND ARE MARKETED AS SUCH HAVE ZERO HD CONTENT AT THIS TIME.
