• Changed both GolTV channels to red backgrounds because they are not available to subscribers.
  • Due to a disagreement in negotiations, GolTV is temporarily not on Dish Network. GolTV is replaced in both the English language AT250 slot and the Spanish language DishLatino slot with a mirror of Fox Sports Espanol. Thus, there was no change in the channel tables, because Dish is still showing "GolTV" in the channel list and showing the "GolTV" program guide information - perhaps an indication that they expect some resolution soon.  However, Dish has given Dish Latino subscribers a free preview of Setanta Sports, in compensation for the fact that they already get Fox Sports Espanol and so would otherwise be losing a channel. Supposedly, this free preview is for "two months or resolution of the dispute, whichever comes first". (KS)
• The Olympics Soccer and Basketball HD channels 367 (98) and 365  (99)  are now available to subscribers at 61.5° and 129°
• SD Olympics Korean and Chinese channels 664 and 655 are now available to subscribers at 118°.

• As advertised the 17 HD channel became available to subscribers today. 
  • To AT250+HD and Turbo Gold:  CBS College Sports, Encore Movie Channel is reported available in AT250+HD.  This may be a free preview or an outright error. Enjoy it while you have it if it is an error. :)
  • To AT200+HD and Turbo Silver: Planet Green,  Lifetime Movie Network
  • To AT100+HD and Turbo Bronze: Lifetime
  •  To HBO Subscribers:  HBO2, HBO West, Comedy,, Zone, Family, Signature, Latino,
  • To Cinemax Subscribers: Action Max
  • To Starz subscribers:  Starz West, Comedy, Edge, Kids & Family, Encore Movie Channel.
• As listed above, new packages were released today.  NOTHING CHANGES FOR EXISTING SUBSCRIBERS.  The Dish HD Absolute for $29.99 is no longer available to new subscribers.  Existing subscribers may keep Dish Absolute for the time being (probably next February if not longer). 
• The Turbo HD Gold, Silver and Bronze (metallic packages) add the HD counterparts to AT100/200/250 for $10.  Or the Turbo Packages may be purchased separately and ONLY the available HD channels are provided for a small savings.
  •  The metallic packages can ONLY be bundled with the corresponding AT package for $10.  Bronze can only be bundled with AT100, Silver can only be bundled with AT200, Gold with AT250 and America's Everything.
• And to add another layer of complexity, Turbo HD Platinum is another $10 Add-on to any other Turbo HD pack (you cannot just get Turbo Platinum).
  • Discontinued package -  Dish Absolute (All HD Channels except premiums only) $29.99. 
  • New package- Turbo HD Gold $39.99 + Turbo HD Platinum (All HD channels  except premiums) $49.99
• 7190 KCAU, 7550 KLKN, 7601 WHBF, 9110 WOI were all replaced by slates or a video of Eric Saul from Dish Network telling subscribers that these local channels are no longer available to subscribers due to a retransmission consent dispute.  According to the video, the station group owner wants a 300% increase in the price. 
  • (Just as an example of what this could mean--- Dish is paying 5 cents and the stations want 15 cents per subscriber. --- That was just an example and should not be taken as what is actually happening or even a hint of any inside knowledge.)
• MP test channels added to tp 17 at 148° on channels 5960 and 5961-5972
• Channel 6799 changed EPG name to "TURBO" from HIDEF
• San Diego stations XETV and KSWB swapped affiliations today.  XETV became a CW and KSWB became a Fox station.  Dish swapped the two stations' transponder locations (XETV to tp 20 at 119° and KSWB to tp 27 spot 29).  The designation of KSWB remains on channel 251 but it is really the XETV video stream available to certain subscribers at that location.
• A mirror of Setanta Sports was added and made available to some subscribers (possibly Dish Latino) on channel 852 at 110°.  It could also be an a la carte location for Dish Latino Subscribers.
